Hey, lovely!

I am so glad you're here! My name is Alana and I am so excited to be bringing you so much helpful content so you get to enjoy mum life as much as possible.

I am a mum of 3 beautiful girls, all under 5 years old (wild times over here), and I've been with my partner (their dad) for more than 12 years now.

For us, it hasn't always been rainbows and sunshine. In fact in March 2020, right before the first lockdowns, I was due to have our first baby in April and things started to spiral out of control. Tom and I broke up (we've sorted things out and been together since then), and the world went a bit mad. But as soon as I laid my eyes on our baby, I completely fell in love, and nothing else mattered to me anymore. But, as any parent will tell you, it's not all easy. Through struggles and joy, I've learnt so much about myself, my relationship with Tom, and my babies since then.

It was a few months ago while I was on mat leave with our third baby, up feeding all through the night, when it clicked for me - I can write blogs so that other mums don't have to feel so alone like I did! And honestly now that I've started, I wish I did it years ago! I have been on Youtube and Tik Tok and Instagram (all the platforms lol), but blogging is something I can do anytime. And writing seems to come naturally to me, which has surprised me - I suppose my dad was right when he used to call me Little Miss Chatterbox as a toddler!
